PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BAGI SISWA KELAS I SDN 05 SITIUNG

Abstract

Based on the results of initial observations at SD Negeri 05 Sitiung, it is known that the average student learning outcomes of mathematics in the even mid-semester exams for the 2021/2022 school year in grade 1 students of SD Negeri 05 Sitiung are not yet satisfactory because they are still far from the KKM set at school, which is 72. Based on the analysis of the test results, the authors conclude several things, namely: (1) The results of learning mathematics in the midterm exams in grade 1 SD Negeri 05 Sitiung have not yet reached the KKM (2) some students do not have a strong urge to study mathematics because they still consider mathematics as a difficult subject so that it has an impact on students' mathematics learning outcomes. In the implementation phase of the actions taken by the 1st grade teacher of SD Negeri 05 Sitiung by implementing the lesson plans that have been prepared, and the researcher in this study is a teacher. The activity at the observation stage is to make continuous observations every time the action takes place by observing the implementation of teaching and learning activities. The application of problem based learning (PBL) learning models can improve mathematics learning outcomes for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 05 Sitiung. The increase in the average value of the first cycle and second cycle is 7 points. In addition, the increase in classical completeness also occurred by 23%. The application of problem based learning (PBL) learning models can improve mathematics learning outcomes for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 05 Sitiung.
