This type of research is qualitative research and data obtained from all 4 English teachers at SMP N 1 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya. In collecting data, researchers used three instruments, namely checklist observations, field notes and questionnaires. After analyzing the data, researchers found that the leadership styles used by all English teachers are authoritarian, democratic, laissez faire, and transformational, and the most dominant used by them is the democratic leadership style. In general, all English teachers have applied democratic and transformational leadership styles effectively.
