Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of the Five-time Prayer Movement, abbreviated as GEMATU, is to increase the five-time prayer, then the constraints on the role of GEMATU in increasing the five-time prayer a day and night. This research is a form of field research or also called (field research) which is qualitative in nature and uses descriptive methods. The primary data are students and teachers at SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang. Furthermore, for secondary data, namely books and journals that have conformity with what is being studied. As for the data collection technique that I did was observation followed by interviews as well as documentation studies. Furthermore, the data that has been collected will then be processed in several ways. reducing the data, then presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The problem found at GEMATU is currently the lack of discipline of students in carrying out the five daily prayers. There are parents who are not role models in worship, in this case the parents pray, sometimes they pray, sometimes they don't pray at all. Parents are busy working and rarely at home so that the children's prayers are not controlled. There is no punishment from parents if their children do not pray. There are also parents who order or remind them to pray but are not consistent so that when parents don't remind them, their children don't pray either. Students who like to be negligent and procrastinate prayer times so that they don't pray at all. . At school students pray the noon prayer and are controlled by using a prayer control book, but only pray at school. Students who join GEMATU feel motivated to pray 5 times a day, also feel more enthusiastic because they remind each other in the WhatsApp Group. Increasing the number of students' prayer time when joining GEMATU. Students often don't have packages, although not all students, so the reports and motivation in the WhatsApp Group are often unreadable and have problems making reports.
